Any defeatist sense-of-Congress resolution, including any resolution that includes setting benchmarks, undermines our troops fighting in Iraq, General Petreus' new mission and our need to win in Iraq.
Such resolutions only help our enemy to last longer because the enemy realizes that America is weak and our collapse is imminent. They will try to out last us.
This is equally as bad as what the traitor Jane Fonda did in Vietnam to aid our enemy there against our own troops. We remember and she is not off the hook on that one either. Congressmen and senators of both parties who vote for these resolutions fall into the same category as Jane Fonda.
We will remember such politicians, including Republican politicians, in the next election cycle. We will deal with them when they want our money and our vote for the 2008 election: they won't get either. Take the pledge at:
